TERMS OF SERVICE

By booking an inspection or using any service provided by Rental Scout Queensland (ABN 88 636 820 633), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with a booking or use our services.

Rental Scout Queensland provides in-person property inspection services on behalf of clients across Queensland, Australia.

Our services include written inspection reports (Standard Package) and written reports with video walkthrough and photography (Premium Package).

We attend properties as an independent third party. We are not affiliated with any real estate agency, landlord, or property manager.

A booking is confirmed once you have completed the booking form and received a confirmation from us.

We will make reasonable efforts to attend the property at the agreed time. In the event we are unable to access the property, we will notify you promptly.

It is your responsibility to ensure the property is accessible at the time of the inspection. This includes confirming access arrangements with the relevant agent or landlord.

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and exclude GST unless otherwise stated.

Standard Package: $100. Premium Package: $200. Prices are subject to change and will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Travel fees apply for properties located outside a 100km radius of our base. These fees will be communicated prior to confirming your booking.

Multi-property discounts are available: 10% off 2 properties, 15% off 3 properties, 20% off 4 or more properties.

If we are unable to access the property for any reason outside your control, you will receive a full refund. Please note an admin fee will be charged.

Cancellations made with reasonable notice will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to apply a cancellation fee where costs have already been incurred.

Inspection reports are delivered to your nominated email address within 48 hours of the inspection being completed.

Our reports reflect the observable condition of the property at the time of the inspection. They are based on visual assessment only and do not constitute a structural, building, or pest inspection.

Reports are prepared for the exclusive use of the client who commissioned them. They must not be shared with third parties, including real estate agents or landlords, without our written consent.

Rental Scout Queensland is not liable for any decisions made by the client based on the contents of the report.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rental Scout Queensland is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of our services.

Our liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

We do not guarantee that a property will be available, suitable, or as represented by any third party.

All inspection reports, photographs, and video content produced by Rental Scout Queensland remain the intellectual property of Rental Scout Queensland until full payment has been received.

Upon receipt of full payment, the client is granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use the report and associated media for their own private purposes.

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at rentalscoutqld.com.au/privacy.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
